Below is a summary of the results:

Run a monthly circulation report from your circulation system

Make a spreadsheet using these item 1) circulation stats 2) daily usage -numbers taken from 3 M Security system each morning and afternoon when we close 3) number of classes visiting per month ( for book checkout, computer use, research) recorded on the public folders calendar

When teachers schedule - find out # of students in each class

give an in-house usage number for any materials students use or browse during the day. If three classes use books I have pulled for research, I scan them three times.

I also count the number of classes that schedule and come to my library. If a class cancels, I remove it from my Outlook calendar and do not count it.

I also have a sign-in sheet for individual students that come to the library for books, or computer use during the day.
